The last time I went racing early last month, doing 1/8th mile track racing I took out a turbo prelude, a muscle car (383 something can't remeber) a 350Z, a couple other slow honda's a mustang GT, and lost to an turbo Honda hatch (or CRX), I had 260 WHP last summer, and got somewhat faster with fine tuning, perhaps 280 or so, this is on 13b-re twin turbo's in an FC. Can't wait to push some BNR stage 3 FD twins (tax return) with a street port an fresh seals.

 

Everyone keeps bringing up the Z, but what about this? You are saying that you beat an EVO with a stock n/a?

The evo has 274 horsepower.

the other day I was playing around with some old dude in a brand new z06 corvette on the freeway he gave me that "you've gotta be kidding me" kind of look and I just had a big grin next thing I know we are doin about 85-90 just playing in traffic no race just fun

did the same thing with a new gt-500 that thing was a beast, no race because I would have been raped with no lube just playing on the freeway

I had a head to head with a gsr but not a full win we stayed neck to neck untill we had to brake

I beat my buddies EVO 9 (my buddies car, he just put in a tre transcase, lightweight flywheel, upgraded clutch) when the light turned he stalled... thats a bonefied kill!!!!

I kept up with my buddies 240Z (with the zx turbo swap) untill about 60ish then he pulled when the boost begin to pull and that was at 10psi

other then that I have not had any other races yet

Exactly...since he said "EVO" I assumed he meant the less sporty EVO model...i.e. the one that comes with air conditioning and other creature comforts.

man i just got a muffler ticket. iwasnt even driving fast. I was on 4th gear[ to keep the engine noise down] going 34mph on a 35 speed limit going home at night and a cop rushed up to me and pulled me over saying my car is to heavily modified and too loud. [good thing he didnt check my jdm engine and straight pipe..]Mycar isnt even that loud compared to those Civics, or hurleys.. jeebuss..and the cop was like thats what you get for driving a rocket. Im just wondering how am I going to change my exhaust when the whole catback is welded onto the downpipe? i have my old s4 na exhaust , but its gunna be apaint in the *** to swap the shitty exhaust on . Iahve to fix this in 1 month before I go to court.... why do cops gotta ruin everything...

oh yeah and thats not all..

the week before my car was impounded because Iwas driving it 1 month late in registration[because I cant pass smog to complete the registeration], and the cop pulled me over because he thought I had fake 08 tags when i stil have the 06 red tags[california], but at night its looks like orange 08 tags cuz the license plate light shining on the red tag..The cop was all checking me for weapons, and searching my car. they put me inside teh back of the cop car.I wasnt even speeding, iwas just driving home at night from my girlfriends house which is just 4 miles away.. after tehy gave me my ticket, he said to scram kid, told me to walk home!The next few days, It cost like $360 to get my car out of the tow yard and the release cost..

all this money being spent because I could pulled over for silly reasons.. icant even pass smog... and this is my only driver.....the stresses of a rx-7

 

do you guys know if the s4 na exhaust pipes and header will fit onto the turbo 2 engine without welding it? I need to know if it will bolt onto the back of the stock turbo. I have to take the catback off my car so I dont get pulled over again..the cat back is welded onto the pipe coming from the turbo..

i actualy tied with my friends evo 8 SE on a 3rd gear pull to 90mph [backe off becuz traffic came up ahead]. But I think id loose if we had a non rolling start because tehy are 4 wheel drive and have torq.
