T04s Fd killing spree
I went out to the local races tonight i had some pretty good runs, keep in mind this was my first time running the car since being single turbo.... i was running about 16pounds all night.
the first of the 3runs with against a evo, with intake, cams, exhuast etc running 25pounds i believe.......
I get a perfect launch and stay half a car behind him thru first, switch to second and get a little squirrly(gotta get used 2 this new power) by the end of 2nd iam ahead a car.... 3rd gear comes and i put about 3cars on him in 3rd gear alone.... at this point he shuts down and goes back towrds the starting line with his tail between his legs...
The second run was against a 390whp srt-4 on drag radials...... Once again i nail the launch and my car just squats and takes off, at the end of first i have about a car. Switch to second easier this time but i lose ground and the srt-4 gains about a half car, throw it into 3rd and thru 3rd gear i stretch the srt-4 out and gain about 1 1/2 cars. Switch to 4th and continue stretching him out and shut down at 120 at this point i was ahead 3-4cars so it made no point 2 continue....
the Last decent run of the night was against an mitsubishi eclipse gsx..... the gsx is fully worked upgraded turbo etc... as we line up i do my lil burn out and pull up to the line.... the gsx starts reving and i here his turbo start spooling Hard!(anti-lag). At this point i know iam fucked, the flagger drops his hands and immediatly the gsx gets a quick 2cars by the end of 1st, by the end of 2nd iam probably 1 1/2 cars back still, 3rd comes and goes in a heart beat and suddenly iam at the back bumper of the gsx. Swith to 4th and by the time i shutdown at 120ish iam ahead of the gsx by about a car leaving my unbeaten for the night......

Congrats! those EVOs and GSXs can be a b!tch to catch with their AWD launches. It sounds like you have the start figured out, you just need to work on the 1-2 shift
It would be interesting to see what you can put down on the dyno and in the 1/4.

i normally launch at 3500rpm and slip it for a second and then drop it.....,
octane- anti-lag is a system that haltech and powerfc user have the option to use, it allows your turbo to spool while basially there is no load on the motor(neutral, or while the clutch is not engaged etc), basically it allows you to build boost,5,10,15pounds on the line, so that when you launch your launching with boost, instead of launching and then building boost...

the anti-lag - is it a datalogit feature or is it something programmable with the commander?
Aren't you supposed to get dyno tuned if you want single?
