Sirocco destroys 90-93 Integra!
Today I was got the Sirocco running and decided to take it for a drive to see how the season was going to treat it. I decided to cruise near the Mankato State Campus and back to the tech here in North Kato. After about 15 minutes I seen a primered Integra with a large can and a buzzy sound. Within the next couple of minutes I finally got him to merge onto the highway (169 off Riverfront, near Cub Foods).
I started off maybe a car behind him when he punched it. Within seconds I shifter from 4th to 2nd and took off, immediatly squaking my tires in hot pursuit. By 9k I get next to him and as I shift into 3rd (4k on my tach and begin to pull away even more and more. By the time I hit 115 MPH I back off with the Integra 5-8 cars back. I slow down and he gets behind me and trails me as I head over to Fastenal to pay for my tools.
By the time I get out of the car he looks over to me, revs, and burns out swinging around into a circle and out towards 169 again. I smile and then pickup my tools for automotive.

Sirocco? Nevermind, I saw the sig. Wow, that old car killed a teg? That's awesome. At first I had no clue what difference I would notice, but after seeing/hearing the difference between a ported TB and a stock one, I want a ported TB so bad now.

My Sirocco was rebuilt 2,300 miles ago with all new OEM components. 99% of the car has been restored, rebuilt, or purchased. It's a pretty clean car. The interior and door handles can be different story.
And I hate CIS, dual sidedraft webers here I come!
FYI: last time the car was weighed it pulled 1711lbs .

I'm getting a SHO or something on-top of the Roc and the 7. I still need a family car or something of the like.

I owned 2 16v Sciroccos, one was an 88 and red, and the other was an 87 dark silver..man I had the autotech, neuspeed, and new dimension catalogs in hand and some dreams..I drove the snot out of those cars..only issues were the badly designed radiator t-hose that would melt onto the underside of the hood, and burst every so often..then I became greedy and sold them both to put a down on a 98 GTi VR6 (new then)..I've always thought about getting one again, as well as a Corrado SLC....

Yep, I had an '87 red Scirocco (16v) with black leather. I loved it, got voted the second coolest car in highschool behind a damn '94 Eclipse. No one knew what the hell it was so I would take them for rides through these backroad twisties, the thing handled awesome, better than their 6 cylinder trans ams and camaros. Good times.
