Talking my stock fd and the supercharged s2k

so it was after a meat out here in the murrieta temecula area and the guy has a red ap1(first gen) s2k . he is "that" guy you know the guy who leaves he's hood up the hole meat even when he is walking around. he's car is supposed to have somewhere above 300 wheel hp(bull) and my fd has a hks muffler that is it, no joke. on the way home from the meat i'm next to him and he is next to me at this light. it turns green..... and we both just kinda cruse away from the light, and get to second and just stay there i through him a what's up and he honks it off ....honk.....honk....honk go. he jumps half a car the after every shift i pull it back a little we hit like 140ish and i'm half a car in front so i just shut it down. super pumped i talk to my buddy the next day and the s2k guy had called him right after and interrogated him about my car saying how it cant be stock there was know way.... i thought it was super funny. oh and that was like 2 or 3 weeks before my motor popped so my car wasnt even tip-top. ha

i had to fix some of the problems,

i remember my mechanic said that the motors run their best just before they pop. or something like that.

other than that, good race. if he claims he has that much tell him to prove it with his dyno sheet.

oh it wasn't that bad...
good kill anyways, I ran my cousin, touring FD with intake and DP and shocks/springs vs. ap1 s2000 with springs, dead even, but my cousin has had 4 more years of seat time in his ap1, I was at 4 months, it was dead even.

Thats not an excuse, you should have killed that S2K anyways. I used to beat S2Ks in my old MX-3 with only a 200hp swap and a clutch.

Not doubting the "kill", but no way that car was running correctly. A stock FD will slowly walk a stock S2k, even a non-AC supercharger on that S2k will (should) put it way ahead.

yeah he's car was definitely not running right, its just super funny because he was claiming over 300ph, but yeah we have a slight weight advantage and s2k's have 6 speed tranys se we have the longer gears

Hmm, are you sure on that? I thought S2ks were about 2800lbs, dead even with an FD.
