My RX-7 got hit-and-run - and I didn't catch her. [NOT EPIC]
[sorry i'm just playin off the other thread]
This happened in the parking lot of blockbuster/CVS on the corner of Northern Blvd. and Bell Blvd. in Bayside, NY.
I was away from my car for about 20 mins, came back and found a note on my windshield.
"This lady with this # DGV9536 hit the front of your car when she backed up"
She basically tore my mazda emblem off (destroying it), which inturn scratched up my bumper and hood. Admittedly the damage is not severe and can probably be buffed out (i cant find my turtle wax at the moment) but I want to contact her and see what's up.
I went to the police dept. 2 blocks down and the cop was telling me (which I already knew) that if the damage is not significant and not more than my insurance deductible there really isn't a point in making a police report which will file with my insurance. "there are some fucked up people out there" she said. I agreed. "i'm not going to tell you her address so you can go **** up her house" she chuckles. O wells thanks anyways.
Now, is there anyone on this board that works for the DMV or insurance company that can get me her contact info?
I already went cruising through the parking lot and the neighborhood looking for this car but I'm sure she bugged out the moment she hit my car and possibly saw the witness write down her plate #. It's kind of hard looking for a car just by the plate #, i wish that person would've wrote down the type/color of the car.
Anyways, thanks for reading.

Dude **** that! If someone hit my car and I took the time to goto the police and make a report and they told me to blow it off!! Find that lady and make her pay to have your whole car repainted. "Well they cant match the original color exactly so...."
