my first kill.... ADRENALINE!

last night at like 3am i was cruising down hw 50 in orlando florida because i came back from a friends house after we were chillin etc. there wernt that many cars on the road since it was a thursday morning (3am) and i was just driving. down the road i heard a car with a turbo but didnt know whati t was so i cought up and it happened to be a integra gsr w/ turbo. i was just driving normally, not letting him hear my bov or anything so he can think it was a non turbo fd (most ricers dont think all fd's have turbo) so yeah we cruised for about a mile or 2 and the guy was breaking his neck, staring at my car and ****. so after like a mile or 2 we were at a stop light, he started revving sounding his bov etc etc. the light turned green and we started to roll.... he downshiffted and he launched, i didn the same. he had a head start. when he took off i was at like 2.5k rpm's in 2nd so i dropped it into 1st and launched. redlined 1st and shifted to 2nd. aroudn that time he had about 2 car lengths since he started alot earlier. i redlined 2nd and by this time he had like a half a car length. by around 4-5k rpm in 3rd i blew past him and by the time i finshed 3rd i had about 3 car lengths and straight up whooped the **** out of him. there was an orange light ahead that i could of easily made but i stopped so we can meet up again. we were both stopped and he just broke his neck staring at my car once again. he started revving again and took off at green but i just chilled. he got a once in a lifetime race against an almost stock fd and got whooped. once again mazda > honda.

Just curious how are you running non seq.??? It seems with your close to stock setup you'd be lagging a lot!!!!
I dont wanna poke holes in your story either but how the hell did you drop it back into 1st, you gotta force it in and by 2.5 rpms in 2nd you are doing close to 30 already so how did it go in? and more important, once you got it into 1st, wouldnt that be kinda pointless since you most likely had 1 mayb 2k rpms left before redline.
just seems kinda odd!

trini in the forums did my non-sequential conversion. i dont know why people talk about so much lag when you go non-sequential because i have almost no lag. only lag i have is when im on light acceleration, other than that is sweet 11psi all the way through. and how did i drop it back into first? i just did bro.

i posted this on honda-tech just to **** off the ricers.

Good kill, like i've said in other threads, if a Honda runs even, just hold it out past 3rd and it'll be an easy kill.

That GSR must've not been running much boost though (or was untuned), they push 260whp at 10psi (completely stock internals) and hit mid 12s like this.
