My Cobra VS Caddy CTS-V

On my way the the gym yesterday, I was getting onto the on ramp to the highway when I saw a black Caddy CTS-V comming from the opposite way also getting on the highway. As soon as we merged on he took off weaving through traffic. The car sounded loud and mean, like a full exhaust Vette. I eventually caught up to him. Was a big guy driving with a very fine woman in the passenger seat. Traffic was pretty heavy but he slowed down to make room in front of us. We went at 3 honks. I started in 2nd gear. It was so hot out that the Falken RT615s were like gumballs....ZERO wheelspin. I hooked and pulled ahead (usually I spin through third on street tires) The end of 2nd came fast. I slammed 3rd so hard my shift **** spun around to the side! Nearing the top of 3rd I had to let off as there was too much traffic but I was at least a car ahead. I couldn't really look as I was concerned about the traffic up ahead. I slammed on the woah pedal and the big Brembos brought the snake to a hault. They guy pulled up and sad something like "man that thing is fast" I give him thumbs up and motioned to pull over so we could talk. Turns out he owns a local shop and they got a dyno. Apparently his is currently the fastest NA Caddy in the world. He also had some very nice black 5 spoke HRE wheels. We exchanged numbers and I headed to the gym.

I really like those Cadillac's, 4 door, 400hp look great etc.

I also really want an 03-04 Cobra, not for the looks but for the POWER that comes so easily.

Haha, oic. Well I would advise not selling quite yet. I went through my sportbike "phase" as well, while you will almost never have a faster streetcar, I sold it and decided I would rather mod my FD. After you almost dump the bike at triple digit speeds a few times, most people realize the temporary thrill isnt worth it

Bikes come and go man.

A nicely modded car is where your heart really is.

I also suggest not selling it.

If I remember right he had a pretty nice silverstone metallic FD. His name seems to stick out for me from back when I was just on the mailing list..

I'm always around here somewhere. No more FDs for me unless I go the LS1 route. I got too many toys now.
