That was WEAK! It didn't even look like he was racing you. It looked like a half *** attempt and when you were on the gas he was back there chillin. Post a real race next time.

They are when stock to stock. I'm 600hp@3250lbs to his 560hp@3800lbs.

 

I've always thought that you needed a dedicated in-car camera, good kill though. Are you about done with modifying the 996?

Yes I drag race this car alot. The best trap was 126mph, street tires, pump gas.

 

Those 01+ diablos are slower than the older ones in stock form on the freeway. They just choke out power wise on the top end from emissions crap, mainly the 6 cats.They sure have a lot of low end grunt though. Don't get me wrong your car is fast.

01 was the last year for the diablo. The Murcialago replaced it soon after.

 

on the first vid.. unless that buick in the middle lane was haulin... you wouldve figured to have approached it much quicker than that....
seems like the diablo was wonderin why you were honkin thrice several times durin his commute..

You've got that 996 TT set up perfect Indy - GREAT car. I'm looking into a new 997TT (that new Nordic Gold color is very cool but I'm always partial to yellow )

Did you use EVO or AWE (closer to your neck of the woods) - just curious. See ya.

 

Hey thanks!! Radkins and I did the work on the car in his garage and the tune is Giac. I'm either going bigger or buying another 996tt, Radkins will probably take this one off my hands.

 

Got it. Too bad you are on the East coast - I'd like to check out the car - it looks great & after sitting in a 997 - the build quality of Porsche becomes very noticeable. Cheers.
