My 94 Mustang GT vs TT FD and T2 FC

Ok sry but no video, but i have a 94 Mustang GT, and one night around 11 I was coming home from Westgate mall in Spartanburg, SC and I see this yellow FD, which is only the 2nd one ive seen in real life before, so i decide to follow it on to Interstate 26 to get a better look at it, and i get beside it and here him hit the gas alittle and his turbo spools up so Im thinkink time to see how fast these FD's really are. So mess around for about a mile until we get to clear traffic and we agree on a 40 drop, so anywayz we both go after a 3 horn beep and i stay beside him until about 50 and then it was over and he started to pull on my hard about midway through 3rd gear and when i was at 100 he had me by atleast 4 cars. I dont know wat the car had because he wouldnt pull over and talk or anything so yea. But Im just a GT with a full performance exuast(flowmasters, BBK expipe, headers, etc..) upgraded suspension, and a racing clutch and Pro 5.0 shifter, other than that my engine is bone stock.

Also last weekend i raced a 1990 T2 running 15psi boost at the dragstrip i just barley beat him my time was 9.48 at 73mph with a .127RT

Dude, give him a break...

On Mustangs, they still have "headers" before the turbo. Here we call it an exhaust manifold, but on their cars they still look like headers...

Maybe he mistook what he said as "Racing Beat downpipe", yeah? Why immediately jump to "BS!" conclusion? You people suck..

Nice death. You died to a very formidable opponent!

When I was running intakes, downpipe and exhuast on my FD I never lost to a mustang. Most of them were right around 400hp, the one owner after losing decided it was time for a supercharger, I thought that was great!

a t2 with full exhaust and 12psi would kill a 94 mustang gt with full exhaust. if the t2 lost, its because he was boosting 15psi which is unsafe for the stock turbo and is really inefficient at that boost level. also a t2 with only fullexhaust and 15psi should of been blown. I call BS. A 99+ mustang Gt with full exhaust and who knows what else got killed by me from 70-120 and i didnt even have full 3" exhaust only 2.5" downpipe and straightpipe at 10psi. I've driven a stock 94 mustang and a stock 99+ mustang. i say the 99 had more power and thats even what it says on paper, so i doubt your fullexhaust 94 gt can beat a t2 with full exhaust and 10-12 psi. but then again maybe that t2 was using the same original motor with no rebuild on it yet. who knows if ts bs or not. but i like to think it is when compared to well running cars.

you have to remember this was an 1/8th mile...the fc probably had traction issues and by the end of a 1/4 probably would have pulled the mustang

honestly, i believe it. you ran a 9.48 which id say is about right for your mods. ive seen TII w/ turbo upgrades running around there. if one was running well with a good drive it should be in the 8's easy though. i dont understand why people call BS on this because what a "good running" FC w/ a "good driver should do. Based on what ive seen, there are alot of bad driver and alot of FC's/FD's running like **** out there. unfortunalty these people and there cars give poor representation of what a properly running and well driven rx7 should perform like.

now come december-february, my far is going through a complete transformation, there want be no more 9's in my far. Im about to spend 8,000 on it. Gt40 crate motor(345hp stock), Vortec Supercharger(+125hp), tremec 5spd tranny(supports 600lbs of torque). with some other small stuff as well like chips, I should be pushing around 500bhp. I know you guys prolly dont care because yall are rotary guys but im just really happy and cant wait to be running in the high 7's in the 1/8th

ok, thats my fault. I didn't realize it was 1/8 mile not 1/4 mile. well if it was 1/4 mile instead, my statement would be true. well now i believe you.
