Mk3 Supra Kills STi
My Car: 91 supra turbo, K&N FIPK, 3inch turbo back, boosting 11psi
His car: some 2002-2005 sti with exhaust and a boost gauge
It's graduation night, the cerimony is over and im feelin good, i've only had the car two weeks and the only kills i've managed are a 2gFWD and a v6maro.
I merge onto 101N and hit the gas, you know, just lettin my baby breathe. i see some HID's coming up on me so i let off at about 80mph and shift into 4th. He shifts into the lane next to me and i can see the outline of an OEM-747esque-OMGRICE STI wing next to me, and a boost gauge lightin up his asian face. I decide he has "answered me these questions three" and shall not pass. I hit it in 4th, just at the bottom of the power band, ahh this is going to be a sweet pull, less than a second later i hear his turbo spool and i know he's taken the bait. from 80 to 120 i just keep nosing up farther and farther and i can feel his smirk turn into a frown. i was up about 2 cars by 120
Well this just made my night, i knew my new supra was quick but not STi-killer status. Later that week i found out i had a BHG and a warped head, so, beat the STi on 5.5cyl.

Believable, despite the circumstances. Even though everyone claims it's the AWD that kills an STI up top, it's really a matter of gearing. The STI owner should have known better than to take a race past 100mph. Good kill on a clueless driver.
