You have a faster car, plain and simple. DP's car ran good but wasnt enough.

I have been wanting to line up with one of these but no luck so far.

I have to say I have never been a vette fan until these came along, very nice!

To be perfectly honest with you, and i will prob get hated more lol, thats how most FD owners are.

If they win, they tell the whole world to celebrate. If they lose, they come up with every single excuse in the world to favor themselves to act like their car wasnt running 100% that race.

They'll be like, "yeah i forgot to brake boost, then all of a sudden i got ignition breakup at 6200rpm but picked up at 6300rpm".

"Damn my tires are too thin, maybe thats why i spun a little and lost"

"Im ONLY on 12lbs, im sure with 16lbs, ill whip his ***".

LOL Its all coulda woulda shoulda. Well the video and your posts put those excuses back in the closet.

Agreed most fd owners are like that, but a good 50% of the time there is actually something wrong with the car, but hey run what you brung.

^^Dont worry, i didnt mean you lol. I know something was really wrong with your car, i saw your thread.

But im saying from what i seen the past almost 5 years of being on this forum. Theres always an excuse as to why they lost. Cant just say, "damn that other car was quick, ill be back next time with more power".

They either make up an excuse or downsize the other car, criticizing it to make them feel better.

Its disgusting.

so true, and I think it's partially to do with the ridiculous amounts of money some have dumped into their setups. It stings that much worse when some stock vette burns them, that they HAVE to justify it somehow.

that stock plastic bucket of a car cost 75 gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg's

no its a sick car just joking around. still though that isnt cheap. in the end i would take a $30k 500 rwhp fd any day though. if i was gonna spend 75k i would get a 911 and dump 20k in mods on it. i just cant see spending 75k on any car. maybe one day when i am done with everything else i want to do ie 5k sq ft home, time share, etc...thats when i will waste money on a big dollar car. it doesnt make sense to me for anyone to spend that kind of money on a car unless the others are accomplished first. and i dont mean a 1k sq ft appt or living with mommy and daddy. i guess priority changes when your the father to a couple of kids.

Spend some time around these Z06's and you'll see they are no joke. The fact that they're that fast stock, come with a warranty, and are reliable, also is something to like.

I'd like to see a 500hp FD that would last 200k+ miles.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not hating on the FD. It's EASILY one of the best looking cars EVER made in my opinion. And you can rev the rotary to the moon, unlike most other engines. It just doesn't hold together near as well long-term.

i like the fd cause it feels so damn racey. the feedback is simple amazing, the engine lovs to rev and is silky smooth no matter the rpm, and the handling feels like its on rails. i love it and probably will never sell it. i havent driven/been in car that has the same feel. i am sure the z06 probably would out handle it...a porsche too. but in terms of "feel" and fun, i just havent found a car that out does my fd and beleive me i have been in or driven the worlds best cars. i would guess that the elise is pretty close as is a S2000. thats my cup of tea...fun factor aka shifter cart. now comfort thats whole another converstion.....the fd is purpose built...screw comfort. that would be a compromise.

LOL The more money dumped, the worse the butthurt gets lol.

And this thread proves it. DP has spent ALOT of money on his FD in the past. Yes i been here long enough to remember everything he did to his car.

And to say a STOCK z06, with intake DEMOLISHED him off a highway roll sorta made him a bit dissappointed so he had to make some excuse to make it seem like his car wasnt performing 100% and thats why the beating he took.

I lost end of story.

on a completely different note I love how everyone talks about how rotaries only last like 70 thousand miles and crap, am I the only person on the face of the planet that wouldn't care if I had to rebuild my motor ever 5 years??? Had to do it to my Turbo II, my friends S5 NA, and soon probably my FD. But who cares dammit if you make power **** breaks, and if rebuilding something that breaks or goes bad is to expensive or hard for you don't mod or buy a fast car. You want 200 thousand miles drive a damn accord and leave the fast cars to people who get their hands dirty fixing ****!!!!

I cant have an autobiography about your life. An autobiography is a story about a person told BY the person. And im not you thank god so thats impossible.

Im not gonna search every thread but a simple thread ONLY search under your name shows a couple of what you did and how much you spent.

And i remember those days where you had the unpainted bumper remember? You had the only car with an unpainted bumper and it stuck out like a sore thumb. LOL yeah that was a long time ago but i remembered.
