A late 80's hatchback weighs about around 1700lbs while a 93-01 coupe weighs around 2500. The weight differance between an Fd & a coupe arent really that big.

I guess since you guys are running from a roll, he already should be around 4k in 2nd gear so he might start start spraying from the word go. Tell your friend to get some headers because he gonna need help releasing all that extra air.

The reason I said that about Fd owners is because alot of you are so confident in your cars. Like its the fastest cars on earth.
i dont think im the fastest..i dont even feel like my car is the ****..i drive around and mind my own business...i only race people i know..i dont even waste my time with the hondas around our way...

Hatchback with h22 should easily be in 13s bone stock, mid 13s with good bolt-ons, most likely 12s with 75 shot.

Unlike the heavier rx-7's, those things go exponentially faster with slightest of increase in power output because they are so light.

I would assume 220whp is good for 12s, 250whp is good for 11s( prepped, of course)

Couple, not hatch. All-motor Hondas can only do so much. I will make a vid when I get time.

He said 2400 with the H22, it is lightened. My FD should be around 2800 lightened. SO I would say 400 lbs. by my math.

Thats because the Hondas around our way hear Bov, then look at thier rearview mirror, then see its an Rx7 & automatically think your fast & think of F&F & speed.

nah not really, they always line up next to me or pace me on kennedy blvd and ****..its really annoying..maybe they're fast, maybe not, but i think its childish to do that on a city street at 4pm where its 25 mph limit..

they think my car is slow cause they get the jump at lights when really, i was enjoying the song in my car not even paying attention to them and just driving normal lol

silly honda guys here

i could have sworn i saw somewhere that fd's weigh 2755 stock wet weight
so if it is lightened then you should be 2500 to 2700 depending on how much
and 2400 for a coupe with an h22 is lightened quite a bit

Stock weigh on my FD is like 2920. The coupe is lightened a bit, no P/S or A/C, no sound deading, light wheels, etc.
