Not a race anything, but I was driving home on the expressway in Rochester, NY when I saw this early 90's 300E Mercedes Benz. Looked a little different than any other I have ever seen. I owned one as a winter car, slow as ****. So I was very suprised when it took off like a bat out of hell and I noticed an AMG badge on the back. So basically, it was an AMG Hammer. I did my research when I get home and it is stock with close to 400hp and 400ft pounds of trq. I think this is one of the most interesting cars I have ever seen, because of how unlikley it looks to be fast. It honestly looks just like any other 300E except with nicer wheels. Funny thing is it wasaround $180,000 USD when it was made. 4.8 0-60 and 190mph top speed. LOL.

That is the problem with Mercedes... you have to pay a big price for performance.

You want Euro performance for cheap? Get an old E30 M3 or 325I, slap in any eurospec engine, or better yet a single turbo 13b... You'll be under 5 seconds in the 0-60 shot.

 

Well it was just funny because it looks identical to a normal 300E, and I had one as a winter car. Hahaha
