My girlfriend and I where leaving a local car meet last night and heading home when I start to knowtice a few cars "hunting" me down. There was a loud civic hatch(na), a 350Z, a turbo lancer(not an Evo) and a new V8 M3. I think it was a V8 because I could hear him bragging about it earlier at the meet. They all gang up around me revving and speeding up to cut me off to get me going. I end up in the middle of the M3(right) and lancer/civic (left). I hear the M3 down shift so I go into third and that didnt take long. We stay door to door for about a second and then I start pulling FAST. I shut down at about 110 which was about 5 cars ahead of him so he cuts me off and gives me a thumbs down out of his window. So I drive up next to him and ask if he'd like to lose agian. He just had the usual dick in the *** beemer smerk and wanted to go again. He pulls up next to me and rapidly honks a few times and leaves before I really know whats going on. Im in fourth gear at like 2800RPM so my car was dog slow due to the lag. After this he will not let me get anywhere near him as he drives like a maniac and on to a different exit than me. So I gues where 1-0?

 

Good kill. You should have been ready for the second race. He is still an ******* for behaving that way. Good kill!!!

 

The new M3 would put up alot better fight then what your saying.

 

not necessarily its quoted at 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. sounds like a reasonable win

He said he was at high way speeds. Most euro luxory cars arent geared for your super fast get off the line and go times they are geared for high speed high way driving. But that still sounds like the E46 time not the E92

i race a e92 m3 on the strip, i beated him with a 13.4 1/4 mile. the m3 made 13.5. that was a close race . the rx7 is faster than the m3 at launch but that v8 is too powerful in 3rd gear. my car dynoed 290 whp.

 

I've found that bimmer drivers always want to run away from you... like you're playing tag. They don't want to slow it down and set it up right.

 

when you say "new", do you mean the E90 M3 (4door), E92 (coupe) and E93 (coupe convertable). Either way, any of these will kill you once you hit over 100. I can guarantee you that unless you have 400 horse under the hood.

I can tell you this because I am a BMW diagnostic tech and I personally own an FD. Those damn cars arent really for dragging. It's made for high way passes. If both drivers are good. That stock "new" M3 will eat your 7 alive no questions asked.

By the way, if the car is still new, havent done their first oil change.... It is almost like 100 horses less. But right after the 1200 oil change. It will evolve and become a beast with new programming =).

Dont get it twisted dude. The new M3's are fast but even a 325rwhp FD will put down your M3.

If you wanna race a 390rwhp FD, prepare to get your *** reamed in all different positions.

 

I guess you've figured out how to read the sales brochure long enough to find out how much horsepower you've got. But unfortunately for you horsepower doesn't win races and juding by your grammar and spelling skills you've made yourself out to be the typical 4 popped collars, sideways ball cap wearing jackass.

I think you'd be lucky to find first gear, let alone win a race.

BTW, since we're e-penising, the v8 in my car has alot more horsepower then the v8 in your car.
