Killed a mighty Ford

I killed an 89 Ford Festiva the other day. Murdered him, is a better term.

My friend's got a blaze orange Festiva, thing looks like crap. He tells me his car coould whoop me, I knew otherwise, but being the gentleman I am, took his offer. We headed to this little straightaway (about 1/8 mile), and had some fun.

I don't have any distances, except for a whole hell of a lot. He wanted more! I even gave him a head start of about 3 seconds. Poor kids car is so weak, I caught it in no time, and smoked him!

Good times.

This, by the way, was at a... sanctioned straightaway... sanctioned by... Jesus himself.

Who else will brag about slaughtering the weak?

You dog on festivas, but you gotta realize that a fully loaded festiva weighs in at 1800 pounds. the non-AC weighs even less. They have potential.

I know they have potential. Ford put the engines and transaxles... pretty much the front ends, minus steering... from eight SHO Tauruses into eight Festivas, as a mid or rear enigne, I forget which. Those cars were demons.

Yeah, but it's all in good fun. I beat a stock 89 Festiva, that's like shooting fish in a barrel, excpet instead of a barrel, it's a small bucket without any water. If I took this as a SERIOUS kill, I'd have to be insane.

The car you are thinking about is the Ford Shogun.
