There doesn't seem to be any feasable way that a car could pull a .920 60' and run a 9.98@134mph. No way.

Seriously, NHRA Pro Stock cars that make 1400hp and run 6.70s pull .920 60's...sometimes not even that good.

My uncle's car has a all aluminum 598ci bbc/lenco 4-speed and runs 4.90s in the 1/8th. It pulls like 1.10 60' times. Something, somewhere is fucked up. I think that would be the worlds quicket 60' for any Supra. No ****.

"** Quickest 6-Speed Supra in the World **

Road racer turned drag racer, Ara and his Motec engine management (w/telemetry) GReddy T78 racer is someone to look out for in the future! Ara is now running a 175 direct-port nitrous system and the key to his 1.45 60 foot times is his custom Tilton Triple Disk clutch set-up.

9.57@150mph"

Mazurowski in the Titan Supra went 9.00 with a 1.49 60-foot – before that their best was a 1.63. Their car is fast. Hands down.

I know Marco isn't getting anywhere near that fast of a short time with his auto supra and everyone knows that it is pretty tough.

Im really not trying to be a dick, but I know that this isn't reasonable...and cannot be true. There is no freak occurence here, its just a timing mishap. If not, that 9.9x street car racing Shane just set the worlds record for 60' times in a pro street car.
Didn't he say that it could have been wrong? Who give's a **** about the 60' get a ******* life and stop losing sleep over the 60'.He has a 1.60 60' hands down.

Eric I was there i'm done with this and like i said before GOOD KILL!!!!!!!! even Shane gave you the kill he just want to run again that all.

lane_change when is your car going to be running i want to run you in my FD then you can shut the **** up

And if you contest it in court, what evidence will they have to prove that you were going the speed that they said you were? Simply pacing you without solid evidence would seem too easy.

What is so gay about racing from a roll, when you have that much power? Unless some people like putting the unecessary wear on their cars... And if these guys were racing on the highway, how are they going to go from a stop anyway?

Racing from a roll is a good measure of the car as well. A lot of the time it's more interesting to put the cars to the test, rather than the driver.

That is not valid evidence. Even with a radar gun, you can still get off if you request calibration records, proper training records, etc. and they do not have them. A testimony from the officer can easily just be a bunch of lies, making it his word agaist the others. There is still no proof.

Oh, I know they can DO it. The 'man' can basically get away with anything they want...and they do so ALL of the time, whether they are right or wrong. However, it is still not solid proof, especially in this situation where the hypothetical is, he was only pacing the car. If this was the case, then the cops could bust anyone they wanted to, without the use of radar, video, or some other evidence of excessive speed. What I'm saying is, it can go either way, depending on how strong you defend your case. A cop only gets benefit of the doubt, because (s)he is the law, and you are just an individual trying to cover themselves. In the eyes of the judge, the person on the defense would most likely be the one trying to lie, but this doesn't mean the cop is right. False testimony does exist.

The point shinobi-X is, the cop's testimony is always going to be taken over a random person off the street....

However, that doesn't mean that a cops can go around all over the place busting people because there will be a record and there will be constant complaints, these things add up.

Also, most cops are decent people or at the very least, people. They won't randomly go after you....if you are going 160 in 60mph then yeah, they are going to drag you to court for speeding and possibly other offenses but most of them don't power trip and randomly arrest people, if they do, it shows.

Also, in some states (king country WA), you are presumed guilty for traffic offenses unless you can show otherwise......which means usual tactics of contesting tickets don't work.
