true story, last summer in the second week of july, I was looking at radar detectors..I was thinking to myself "wtf, $90 and up? why not $20?!" so 2 weeks later I'm driving down the highway to get my car inspected...well there he is, I let off the gas, too late. he clocked me at 102 through the turn, and that was that. so for not fronting the $90+ for a radar detector, I lost my license for 15 days, for a $205 ticket and 5 points on my license...now I still haven't bought a radar detector, but I did stop driving like an idiot.

Dude, no ******* radar detector in the world is going to save you when you are going that fast. It doesn't take a genius to realize that a car is travelling way faster than it should be. Not to mention, the radar detector wouldn't even haave picked it up until it's too late. Unless a cop has his gun on at all times, then you will most likely get caught. Any cop who is setting up a speed trap turns his gun on when he's got it pointed at you, so by the time you are alerted of radar he already knows how fast you are going.

 

am i mistaken or did someone say that no matter how you mod a supra it will only do around 10's? must have read wrong.. there are two supras in nor-cal that are street driven, and run high 8's/ low 9's , but the sweet part is the 8.5 second street drivin FD we have up here at sacramento raceway/ if i ever go to the track again iw ill try to get osme vids of it.. total sleeper

sure looked like the supra made it thru the gears. fair race to me. FINALLY THE VIDEO PROVES ALL.

 

RX7 is fast but started one car ahead and in a clear lane. I still think it pulled the Sup though.
Maybe some new runs for the future?Fast RX7.

 

Bah, I wouldn't call that a race. As someone stated, it started a car or two ahead and didn't have someone in front of him 30 yards ahead! That wasn't a race.
