on the freeway.. i see him up ahead so i chase up to him a bit and let my BOV go off right at his open window hinting i want to go , just upped my boost to 12psi i wanted to test it out so i start rollin beside him.. start rolling past.. then he starts rolling past.. we both have a passenger, no cars in sight so we giver.. were even for about 3 seconds then i gradually leave him behind.. we went 3 times from a roll and 2 times from a stop, beat him both time saw him again the next day randomly and gave eachother thumbs up! haha

he had an exhaust and prob intake .. who knows what else those things are zippy out of the box, i have full standalone , front mount ... etc.

I love mazdaspeed 3's. They are awesome cars and quick as hell stock.

Your car must be quick as hell too if you beat him and he had some bolt ons.

That's what I'm saying. The OP said it's a MS3 turbo. That's like saying it's a turbo TII, or a turbo FD. There are not stock NA versions of those cars, nor is there a stock nonturbo version of the MS3.

thanks guys. yeah it was a pretty beautiful car.. metallic grey paint from what i remember and it had some nice rims wouldnt mind owning one in the future. my car is pretty quick.. havent dynod it yet, still running with original engine with 145,000 k's , im running on luck! mod list is pretty big on my car.. every bolt on possible haha.. used 2 have a aftermarket turbo too .. till the oil seals blew up in it... i miss the roar of the external wastegate..

 

I tought it was easier to race with a streetport motor, but i was wrong..
My builder went a lil bit aggresive with the exhaust port....and now my rex is loud even at idle. Its a bit hard to persuade someone to race.....with a loud & mean exhaust tone when you are idling...

I've driven MS3 and MS6. the 6 is good and all, but the 3 is ***** to the wall.

I love the hatch. I really like the MP5 and MS3. Both cars are sexy as all get out.

My friend just purchased a '08 Mazdaspeed 3 - awesome car!!!

I drove it and 'think' it was as fast or potentially faster than my 1993 RX-7 R1 (Mica Yellow). It is a great car with lots of guts. One of the things amazing with the car is its urgency at just a slight throttle input at 80 mph - awesome.
