Kill CLS500

My gf's neighbore has a 06 CLS500 and we decided to just have a little fun as we were going to the audio store today.

He is completely stock engine wise (not AMG) so according to specs, he has

302@5600 hp
339@2700 ft/lbs tq.

I have stock turbos with all bolt ons but no tune.

Lined up at a light and light turns green I don't launch as I don't know for sure if he wants to play around or not and I'm cruising slowly in first gear and then I start to see him go quick and I get on it. Pull 1st gear real quickly, and then hit 2nd gear and I start to slowly pull away, at this moment I'm pretty surprised and thinking that it's going to be close. I hit 3rd gear with about a bumper ahead of him, but once I hit 3rd, I start pulling as if he's standing still. Hit 4th gear and I shut down with about 1-2 possibly even 3 cars length on him.

Was surprised that he was still with me from 1 to 2nd gear, but if I would have launched I'm pretty sure I would of pulled on him more in 2nd gear. We get to our destination and he tells me he couldn't get his tiptronic paddles to work or something. I don't know if that would have made a big difference but I was surprised that it stayed with me for that long.

Shouldn't I have been able to kill it if it runs mid 14's? Aren't the FD's in the high 13's?
