Got killed by a Lancer

I was working last night in my 03 ford towtruck and it was in the middle of the night. This lancer with a really bad sounding exhaust pulled up beside me and I was thinking I'm gonna try and ruin this guys whole night. So I held the brake and steped on the gas to spool the turbo up and then when the light went green I let off and got the jump on him and kept my distance in front. Then he finally slowly pulled in front of me and by the time I quit he was a few carlengths in front of me. I was expecting to get wasted and not even stand a chance driving a big heavy tow truck, but the higher gearing in the rear was probly what helped me off the line and my first 4 gears.. His exaust still sounded like crap on full throttle too

Probably scared the crap out of him that he might lose to a tow truck...

I raced a Lancer OZ Rally with my wifes BMW one night... man those cars are slow. The BMW is a mid 15 to 16 second car and most of that is top end. Just stop light to stop light the automatic BMW got 2 cars on the guy. I'm guessing they are mid 16 to 17 second cars?
