First (decent) race

out on a lunch break from school, i pulled up beside late 80's to early 90's ford laser. Before this i have never seen one, but it was a 2 door. As i pull up beside him on the red light i looked over to see a gangstar driving, and know he wanted to race. Even though i needed to turn off in around 60 yards i still went. Launched at around 4.5k rpm on wet pavement, and spun the tires. He had just about a length on me when i finally got traction. I reeled him in and pulled past all the way to the top of 2nd. By that time i had around 1 length. I slowed down and turned off. Sorry i dont know any info on the year or mods. But with i could not hear his car over mine, and the music on quietly.
