Ferrari Maranello MURDER!

This past weekend, us central florida fd brothers (6 of us) went for a mini meet for a nice photoshoot. As we were heading to the shoot we were on I-4/Turnpike at about 1am. We were cruising along, all 6 of us. We then spot a Ferrari Maranello with 2 dudes in it. The driver looked to be in his 20's. This is when the fun starts...

'FD REY' on the forums, pulls up beside the over rated exotic and starts playing with him. The Ferrari down shifts and starts to budge a little bit but then FD REY takes off for a second to show the Ferrari dont mess with the 7. Then Garret (silver 99spec conversion) Pulls to the left of the Ferrari while rey is on the right. They both start playing with him and scaring the **** out of the Ferrari. I then pull behind the Ferrari to trap him. Aleem (93 vr) goes behind Rey so he cant move and then finally, purerx7 on the forums, pulls to the left of me so the only place left for the Ferrari to go is straight, to run Rey. THE FERRARI WAS BOXED-IN BY FD'S!!!!! The ***** dosent go. So we all then BLOW PAST HIS ***! and finish the whole scene by making him feel so shitty in his over-rated exotic. NA NA NA NAAAAAAA, NA NA NA NAAAAAAA.... HEY HEY HEY..... GOOOOD BYEEEE!!!!

blah, he did get on it very briefly and I reeled him in, and then he let off right away. Whatever... My favorite part was me saying "What did you buy a Ferrari for? Are you affraid of losing!" Not a kill, but it was funny to see 6 FDs and one Supra surround a Ferrari on the highway.

Wow. You guys sounds like real winners. He was out driving his car (which, incidentally, is absolutely a better car than any of ours, I don't care HOW fast they are) and you guys decided you wanted to taunt him, TF&F-style. And then you have the nerve to call HIM names?

Morons.

They did leave him a hole dude... at least they didn't do what I suggested (and have arranged for people via CB radio, although they severely deserved it, it's good to have friends in the trucking business sometimes).

No stupid highschool antics. The guy was actually a ***** at first, giving me a look like my car was a POS and not worthy. All I wanted was a friendly highway pull. NO F&F bs there. What everyone else behind me did was up to them. I guess they just wanted a good view of the race. I was the one that saw the car and intionally missed the exit just to have a chance to go at it with a Ferrari. I'm sorry but does not happen to me every day. And when did I say I called him names? You guys are way too sensitive. FYI, after it was obvious that he wasn't going to go, we just took off, as he was going under the speed limit.

Justify it all you want. It doesn't change the fact that the guy had no interest in racing you. Doesn't mean that he is a "*****" or a "*****". Just means he has no reason to show off his car to a bunch of kids that are taunting him. I would be laughing at you guys if I was in his shoes. Ridicules.

Not justifying anything, just stating the facts. He didn't know there were other RX-7s behind me until after he got on it once I was next to him. After he realized I was not as slow as he thought, the rest of the crew joined in the fun (to watch). You weren't there, so picture all the rice fest you want in your head. I was actually nice to him when the whole thing started, I didn't act like the cocky bastard that he is. All I wanted was friendly pull, you're just reading too much into it. The entire thing all took place in about 2 minutes.

Oh, btw, I love it the fact that someone gave me a negative feedback! lol You're so retarded. "Enjoy your red mark" it's what it says. Show your face.... I don't care if my mark is red or green, all I care is about contributing to this site which I frequent all the time. If you have a problem with what you read, then let me reiterate for you.

A guy in a Ferrari was on the highway. I pull up next to him to admire the car and maybe get a chance to go at it with him. He hits it for a brief second, I reel him in, he lets off. He realizes I'm no slouch and begins to make fun of me. I laugh at him back, and let him go. THE END.

Perhaps you should reread what your friend posted to start this thread then, because it sounds like two different stories to me....

No, it's not two different stories. It's what's called a "backpedal". See, they talked this trash, didn't get the response they wanted, and now he's tryign to save face.

first you wrote this:

blah, he did get on it very briefly and I reeled him in, and then he let off right away. Whatever... My favorite part was me saying "What did you buy a Ferrari for? Are you affraid of losing!" Not a kill, but it was funny to see 6 FDs and one Supra surround a Ferrari on the highway.
And then you try to cover it up by saying this:
was actually nice to him when the whole thing started, I didn't act like the cocky bastard that he is.
So which one was it? From the looks of it, he wasn't the cocky bastard. You were.

well obviously there are two different sides of the story. Someone else got more excited about then others. And it shows the age gap between us. I'm not saying anything negative about you Manny, don't take it the wrong way. There are always different views of situation. Why do you think I didn't post the story to begin with? It's no kill, it's an "I almost race a Ferrari" story. Shoot, I've raced a 480 AWHP Galant VR4 and didn't post about it. The reason why I replied was because my name was mentioned.

At first I was nice. Asking him to give me a lil taste. After he hit it then let off, he started started being a *****. That's when I made the comment about why did you buy a Ferrari, etc. Re-read it bud.

Uh..it seems like the ferrari "budged" for a second and then te other guy just took off. There was no race in this story...and if i was the ferrari drivers i wouldn't have the best view of FD owners about now. There was no murder just a bunch of idiots bothering a guy whose income is probably more than your whole group's put together. Way to represent the rotary community!

^ you're right that's exactly what happened. You're making assumptions on what took place by just reading the first post. I sure hope my friend David, who's a member on here would post exactly what happened since he was actually in the car with me.

^ he told you what he saw, from his point of view! I was the one instigating the race, I'm the one that talked to the guy, I'm the one that realized he wasn't going to do crap, so decide just to let him be and go about my business. BTW, I know there was no race in this story. The only reason I came on here and replied was because, again.... my name was mentioned.

ok heres the deal..i am David and I was in the car with rey. when we first spotted the car rey goes "is that a ferrari?" i said "i think it is" so rey speeds up to see. he gave the guy props for the nice car then asked if he wanted to run. when the guy got on it a lil rey took off and completely left the guy behind.(whether it was because the guy immediatly got off the gas or whatever is besides the point). soon as the guy in the ferrari got back up beside us he gave rey the your cars a slow piece of shat look and a gay thumbs up. so rey preceeded to say "are you just scared to race because your car is slow?" the ferarri guy just gave him a stupid *** look. then the guy with the silver 3rd gen blew by us on the other side of the ferarri so we took off and let him be. there was no boxing in that involved me and rey. and what happened behind us with the other rx7's was out of our control.

So before you call anybody ricers, or say that we were doing stuff f&f style you need to hear the story of what really happened from me or rey cuz rey was driving and i was shotgun in is car.

Also im tired of you old farts that think jut because us in the younger crowd like to race our cars means we give the rx7 a bad name. that is total b.s. Do you think that the rx7 is in a class above the rest? because if you do then you are mistaken. I love my RX7 but at no time do I think its better then anyone elses car. im sorry if you arent confident in yourselves enough to have a lil fun every once in a while in your SPORTS CAR.

anyway in no way should this be considered a kill or race. we tried to have a little fun with a rare exotic car and it turned out the guy was a dick and didnt wanna have fun THATS IT.
