FD beat an Firebird 00-01 V8
From Brooklyn but go to school in rochester at MCC. In my math class this guy has a firebird 00-01. One day he was like that hey took this rx-7. Didnt say how it looks like or what year. I think its a 2nd gen alot of them here at rochester. Well anywayz he said that he park next to a red rx-7 and the owner put a body kit to make the car look fast. And his firebird would eat any rx-7 especally the red one. I knew he was talking about mine cuz I'm the only red rx-7 with a body kit. Let him talk but it got to me and i step to him that its my 3rd gen and would BBQ his bird. Keep on the whole entire class. Im pushing like 200 to 210WHP. My injector are bad to T N R lowered my boost and horsepower to accommadate my shity injectors. He was taling about he got like 350 at the wheel and i dont come close. This is my mod Power FC,Greddy exhaust, From auto to stick with a 3.90 rear. 8lb boost. 60% of my injectors working, 6 puck racing clutch, short shifter. At the light we waited till it hit green. once it hit we both took off. I didnt get good traction but once i did at 2nd i cought up to him. I was like at 6 to 7 rpm. gas it more gas and shift it at 8500 . once i gotten to 3rd and 4th he was no where to be seen. Next day he was like that i had nos and he is going to get his Boy car to race me a mustang with a supercharger and shyt. Told him in the spring i would gladly race the mustang. Hopefully by that time i dont a rebuilt and and better injector. Im aiming for Street port and polish, 3MM seal. port my twins, Fmic greddy, apexi down,mid and exhaust piping. greddy elbow and thinking about HKS blow vaule or apexi Blow vaule. then i'll be mad happy. hope you like my kill

nice kill. But I doubt that guy had 350 to the wheels. Given your RWHP #'s and description on how you left him behind. Either he has less than 350 or you have more than 210.

On second gear and at around 6k to 7k RPM I caught up. Continued on the gas until I shifted at 8.5K RPM. By the time I hit 3rd and 4th he was no where to be seen. DUSTED!
The next day he was making claims that I had N2O and that he is going to get his Boy's car to race me. Apparently, it's a mustang with a supercharger and shiet. I said "no problem, but your boy is going to have to wait until spring. Because that is when I should be done upgrading my car".
By spring time I hope to have my engine streetported and rebuilt using 3mm seals. Plus additional mods including: Ported turbos, greddy FMIC, apexi DP, MP, and catback, a greddy elbow, and a blow off valve either HKS or apex'i. I haven't decided which one yet. I should be stoked with those mods.

Nice kill. Sounds like he was trying to say what he had at the engine. No way in hell he had 350 to the wheels or it probably would have been a different race. Either way, good kill, and im not bagging on you at all.

i brought the car with the body kit already installed. Thanx for correcting my english. Reason for not fixing my FD is because of money. My flow of money is coming slow and i just moved to Rochester. So i'm not going to sleep on the floor and stuff. I dont race my FD alot, only when d**k head are talking trash about RX-7. But thanx for reading my post and who ever understand it thanx. If you didnt my bad....
