Evo has intake complete exhaust ( boost controler in the mail) and he will be getting his ecu reflashed in a week or two.

350 has Nismo CAI, Z-Xtreme grounding kit (blue), Unorthodox pulleys (blue), BFG KDW-2 rubber, ARC titanium (the real ****) radiator cover, NISMO 18"s Silver

I have intake, intercooler, dp,mp,cb, pfc tuned to 13psi (unfair i know but it was still fun getting a few runs in)

Goes to show how much i know...I would have thought the evo would edge out the Z no problem. The best is you putting 3-5 cars on both!

 

I waited a few seconds for them to get a BIG jump, when they were a few cars up i finally nailed it. And before i could top out 4th i was flying past them. when we went heads up it got real ugly real fast. I also raced a crotch rocket with the Z and evo behind me and the bike's rear tire was at about my front bumper. i still havent figured out how big the bike was.

And the evo really needs a tune. I think he will put up a much better fight when he gets reflashed.(for the Z of course)

my buddy has a black 350z but its automatic..he is buying a turbo kit for it..im kinda scared lol

but modded evo's are no joke..my friend has raised boost, exhaust and cams and **** FLIESS!!!! lol

 

I actually expected the Evo to put up a nuch better fight. I'm sure it will be more interesting when his boost controller arrives(in the mail) and he gets a reflash. I don't really see too many Evos in my are, i'm more likely to se an STI.

I'm not quite sure what to expect from a boosted Z. I don't imagine it would be easy by any means but i've never seen one in action.

 

your car is quick, it slaughtered marks fd with a boost problem. shows how much a few upgrades (and a healthy car) can do. nice.

well, he was going to but couldnt. right now its in the body shop, someone backed into his car, it was a truck with a hitch, so it messed up the front support, bumper, radiator, and other misc things, so hes getting those fixed and a new paintjob from those. when he gets the money together i am going to do the port work and rebuild of it. then he is going single, with a bdc tune.

 

wow im suprised that 350 had even runs and even some a little better than the evo, i thought the evo would have done better. no question from a dig the evo would dominate. funny how you were like "tagging along" in his description yet you would maul them beforeyou topped out on 4th gear even giving them a huge advantage.

I've already heard of at least 2 Zs with forced induction. One has a blower and the other has the greddy tt kit....I think they said the turbo gets them close to 400hp not sure if thats at the wheels or not but either way it wakes them the hell up!!!

Evos are a dime a doze here. Everytime i go out i see at least one...Same with STIs. Neons are catching up too.

 

sure it may be a dime a dozen where you live but you have to admit, for raw performance, that car does it for a value that only the geniuses in the early 90's working at mitsubishi could come up with.

 

Well I don't know what kind of 7 you have but if it's an FD don't be too worried. I have an FD with 3'' dp and 3'' cb and on the freeway I ran into some guy I had heard about that was twin turboed. We went from around 60-120 and neither one of us pulled on each other. I know it was manual too because my friend knows the guy and has ridden in it. From what I hear he is putting down around 400hp. Anyways with a couple more mods to my car I would have walked on him. I'm sure a lot of guys won't believe me but thats cool it's just my experience.

 

dp and cb is nothing, if you had done some real mods to your car you would have walked that big $$$ car

 

I like how some guy says " Why dont race from a dig?" Scared?.HAHA Just tell him to go from 0 to whoever lets out first. That makes it as fair as it can get!

 

I know it's not a ton but it's a good start. I'm planning on going single this winter then i will be looking for him and let him know how he wasted his money.

im not putting you down or anything, im just saying, that car is such a joke to your FD, that you dont need to do **** to it to make it walk him after 10k of turbo modification and installation(not to mention new technology that is over 10 years what the FD has)
