Heh... Giving the thumbs-down is lame. I agree with you and didn't miss the point. I was just a bit taken back by the "forum outcry" at such a silly story. LOL.

A simple smile or a thumbs up would have been more of a mature way of defeating another car but its another thing to give a thumbs down. All that shows is that you're happy you made your car fast so you can have a chance at a higher cost car that you'll never afford (not you, i meant in general) and beat them to show off.

That proves nothing, all it is is that you put money into your car to beat another car. If the porsche owner put money into his car, it will be faster and still be a better overall engineered car.

And about the house, i was saying that would probably be the porsche guy's mental reply to the other guy's "thumbs down" thinking to himself that o who cares, he got a faster car but at least i own a more expensive car and a bigger expensive house. I didnt mean or say that all porsche (or other higher priced car) owners think like that.

Seretogis LOL funniest thing I ever saw....

It is Sagaris and they are a company based in Blackpool, England owned by a man of Russian Origin. Also the handling of a TVR is known to be very good, but without any traction control or stability control it is only a car for well experienced drivers.

I'm pretty sure after he lost, he just laughed and went on about his business at his multimillion dollar home, with his trophy wife and perfect kids, while you and the thread starter are calling your buddies up, braggin about how you "humiliated" a Porsche and how he had this disgusting look on his face, only to come onto a forum and brag about it more, hoping to get praise and respect for the kill, yet, you get the opposite. Some praised...I guessed.
WTF are you talking about?

That is exactly what I wrote.... "I think that alot of porsche owners buy their cars at largely because they are great performance cars, and not just because they are prestigious etc etc." ETC ETC meaning not ONLY (but partly) because they handle and all the other stuff you said.

This is exactly what I said when I wrote "But who cares if the guy went home cried himself to sleep anyway?" I could care less if he is poor or wealthy or if he stole the car, if he has three trophy wives, WTF has that got to do with anything. certainly wouldnt get upset if someone overtook me on the outside, but I don't have a big house, a trophy wife or any kids. So.....

And Lastly I didn't "ring my buddies about this guys's kill", nor did I think or say that he "humiliated the porsche". I just said nice kill. It is a nice kill because the porsche is a great car. It wouldnt be a nice kill if he went round a 1992 hyundai would it??

Read my post more carefully before you quote me next time hey?

The wife and kid thing was an example, of course you wouldn't have a trophy wife.

That has nothing to do with what made me quote that post. It was the:
"But who cares if the guy went home cried himself to sleep anyway?
and the mere fact that you made the assumption that this would actually bug the Porsche owner that he lost to a, "Mazda on the outside." Then in comes my example of adding a trophy wife nd kids. Also, the whole thing wasn't aimed at you....hey?

NOOOOO I did not make that assumption. Read the post again. I did not say that it would bother him, How would I know that? I said it would BUG ME if it was my car. Again, read what I actually wrote, not what you assume that I would write. It would bug ME. NOT HIM...hey?

The "Who cares if he went home and cried comment" Was literally saying "why bother caring or speculating about another driver's emotional reaction to the event/kill". Literally 'Who cares" if he was happy/sad/bothered. I really wasn't interested if he was disgusted.

If you read it I wasn't saying that he would be upset by it, just that if he was (or wasn't ) then i really wasn't interested in that.

Did you you not assume that he went home and cried himself to sleep? I'm quoting what you quoted...hey?
How would I know that?
You wouldn't now that, hence the reason why you made that assumption of crying to sleep.

Edit: oh well, whats done is done. On to soemthing new.

hmm, I did not say that he cried himself to sleep!! I said that if he did cry himself to sleep who cares? It was "Who cares IF he cried himself to sleep". NOT "who cares THAT HE DID cry himself to sleep."

apology accepted.

The porsche owner probably leased his car so he can say he owns a porsche.

This thread took a turn for the worse. It's just a kill. The thumbs down thing...so what, some people are cockier than others. If you want to tell the guy to pull over and offer him a cookie after you smoke him and say you're sorry for that kill, then by all means go ahead. Regardless, it's not that relevant to the thread...it's just a kill.
