Heading home from a local shop in my RX7 after getting some vacuum hose work done and I see a white C63 AMG ahead of me at a stopped light. I see him take off from the light and leave all the traffic behind, I speed up around traffic and catch up to him at a red light. I look over and can't see the driver, just limo tinted windows. Light goes green and I start off normal and just cruising, halfway threw the intersection I hear that beast of a V8 roar to life, I promptly bury my gas pedal and let loose the furious Hitachi turbos. 1st gear I jumped ahead a fender, 2nd gear I very mildly start walking him, 3rd becomes a full on walk, 4th and I am nearly 3 cars ahead of him. Next redlight comes and he pulls up next to me with his window rolled down, A late 20's early 30's asian man yells out to me "have any modifcations to it!?" I tell him just bolt ons and a tune, He gives me a thumbs up and says " very fast and very nice car!" I give a thumbs up back and he makes the next left.

Those C63 AMG's are beautiful cars! Sound amazing too. Gotta love that roaring 451hp/443 tq monster of a V8.

It's nice that he was cool about it! At 3650 pounds for the Merc, I could believe that.

 

Would have thought it would be a lot closer, maybe he didn't know how to drive it?
