You really have to know your car cause it will go up in smoke easily. the car is a pig with it off..
I would agree with you if it were a race traction control or something but its not.
Bullshit. Post up the time slips showing you running a faster 1/4 with the traction control off then.

Bingo. The acceleration stats on the SL55 (also published by Mercedes) keep the traction control ENGAGED. Getting out of the throttle a bit if TC is turned off "may" produce a better run, but its not a slam dunk. TC engaged produces a mid 12 sec run, hardly a "pig". 12.5 sec is not blazing, but its not slow either.

See ya,

Ever drive a e55 or an sl55. Well first the sl55 is what it is .. a convertable with big hp and tons of torque, great for straight line but try taking turns with it and your in for a boat ride. I wouldnt consider that a car that handles at all.. Now the e55 is alot better then the SL in handling.. it felt better at least but not that much better where I would even consider comparing it to m5 handling. but who knows I never drove the new m5. but I currently own an m3 and prev owned an e34 m5 and they both would destroy any 55 in handling.. BMW's just drive much better then benz in my opinion.. another one of my buddies just got the CLS55 and thats even worse then the E and SL in handling. dont get me wrong they are a blast to drive, so comfortable and the torque is great, so much power on tab, but I would never chose one over a bmw on the track...
