Believe it.

Ok this happened tonight i just got back and im posting it because some of you dont really know what an n/a FC is capable of!

I raced two car's tonight. The first was a 02 WRX non STI version, we went from a 45 mile an hour roll i was at about 4 1/2 grand in second. We both gun it! its dead even at first. then at about 65-70 i pull about three feet on him, i shift into 3rd at 80 mph the tires spin alittle but they catch and i get another 2 feet on him were it stayed dead even until we both shut down at about 105. We raced about four times all with the same result.

The next was the new CIVIC SI the one with 197 brake horsepower, six speed transmission and limited slip diff. We both gunned it at 45mph and he stayed with me about one second. Then i pulled about a car i shifted into third at 80 and put another half car on him before my tires stopped spinning i shut her down at about 95. I only raced him twice just to see what it could do.

I have a gutted interior with severe weight reduction plus sig, hope you guy's enjoyed this!

Happy Holiday's!

Nice kills. I believe you on the WRX kill because I had a similar run with my '90 GXL (auto to 5 speed swap, 2.5" header, HKS Hi-Power eBay knockoff mufflers, e-fan, removed A/C) and I also had the 3.90 diff from the auto. The one I raced wasn't a new one, it was probably an '03 or so, but I shut him down, then he got pulled over. Felt bad for him.

I just don't know about the whole spinning in third with an n/a. N/A's don't have **** for torque. but you say that you have done some crazy weight reduction? still not sure if i can beleive that. I hardly get any 3rd action in my T2

Well, weight redux isn't always 50/50 front/rear. There's really not alot of weight one can remove in the front, compared to the rear. Not only that, but with a good enough clutch, I'm sure spinning 3rd wouldn't be too hard. My brother's 2+2 GXL would spin 4th a little(intake, catless exhaust, e-fan, 60hp shot) and he had an assload removed from the car (i.e. rear seat, erm... EVERYTHING IN THE BACK!!!LOL).

Yea the storage bin's and the carbon fiber bracket it sit's in weigh at least 15lbs. Boy with the car as it sit's right now its fun as hell to drive you can throw it into corner's predictably and the less weight just makes everything better.
