87tii vs a pack of street bikes.
im lazy so this is gonna be short and sweet. wish we would have filmed this race but we had no idea it was going to happen till it all went down.
i was driving islanders HBP 60-1 tii, i had to drive cuz he was drunk from hanging out up at rotor sports.
we were at a light in the right lane. a truck was in the next lane. as we pulled up to the light a pack of a few street bikes pulled up behind us. they were revving and being all loud, inching up like they were gonna blow past me inbetween me and the truck in the left lane.
we were talking about how i with we were on the freeway so we could run them and that i didnt really want to do highway speeds on the streach of road we were about to go down....
about that time the green light for the left turn lane came one... and i revved just a little blip of the throttle.... and one of the guys on the bikes was like "Got damn!".... heart started to beat... dunno how him saying that ment its go time to me but thats how it worked out.
the light turned green and i didnt launch, but as soon as te clutch cought i gave it about %50 throttle for maybe 1 sceond... i heard the bike in front go for it. i floored it.
the guy on the bike made it up to the drivers door on the jump... i went through 1st, 2nd, .... and 3rd... and we were inching on him... a car up ahead was doing a old lady style slow U-turn so i shut it down. I couldnt go around the car up ahead cuz the front ike we next to us and the pack was at out rear bumper. so when i hit the brakes they flew past.
the guy on the bike was down to the tank and took it to the rev limit. So needless to say he was trying.
we were freaking out.. lol. i kept saying "i got em... i got em... i got em.." and islander was saying he did not pass you he didnt pass you... lol.
we knew his car was fast as hell but the chance to race a bike like that dosent come too often.
im nt sure what kind of bikes these were.. they were new looking and the one we raced had HIDs. they all had exhaust and chrome ****. one of them had a longer swing arm.
i cant wait to get mine tuned so we can punish the streets.
