Talking '87 NA vs. Focus

This is definitely a funny kill story:

So, my Puerto Rican friend needed me to drive him and his Puerto Rican girlfriend to the airport at 4 am. After we pick up the girlfriend from St. Joseph's, I'm on the last stretch of City Line Ave before it hits 76 at a big intersection. Two lanes over I see a Focus hatch with aftermarket wheels, fart cannon, a few decals, and God knows what else.

The crazy thing about this kill is all the **** I had in my NA RX-7: two crazy Puerto Ricans + ALL of their luggage for a trip to the Dominican Republic. The girlfriend was sitting on my friend's lap in the front seat with the belt wrapped around both of them...

I just finished telling my friends that under normal circumstances I would consider humiliating a Focus driver, but that my car was too weighed down. Without even thinking, seconds after saying that, I redlined 1st (didn't launch), 2nd, and took third up pretty far, but had to slow down since there was a red light ahead. Of course, I had a slight jump since none of us exchanged revs or anything like that, but he had no one else in the car and got KILLED by a super heavy weighed down NA FC.

When we both pull up to the next red, he pretended we didn't exist. I would too, if was that overweight, bald, and humiliated by an 18 year old sports car with all that **** in it.
