There was a bike mag a while back that covered an AMA drag rider that took a 600cc kawasaki, put tie downs on the front forks to compress them, and cracked a 9.7x ET bone stock. I would expect an average rider to be in the 11's or so if the bike is stock, however. Most of the times I see for 600's seem to be 10's and 11's depending on the caliber of rider in question.

If the rider knows what he's doing on that CBR600RR he can run mid to upper 10's all day long. They are much easier to launch than a litre bike or big bore bike like a Busa/12R and the CBR600RR is one modern bike that doesn't like to wheelie, jus the way they designed it. I'm not saying you can't, it just doesn't come up as easy as other bikes.
