After watching this C4 outrun an R1,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wk0JmpLRn1Q

I'd have to suppose the difference between the Rx-8 and the Carrera was the driver, because it certainly isn't the car.

Well, first of all, this was a C4 and an R1 on a track. With TURNS. This has nothing to do with this thread or kill in any manner, shape, or forum. There is no RX8 involved in this video, and this leads me to believe you are not very bright.

Not to mention I already stated he missed a gear ... maybe if you could read, you could avoid these horrendous moments which promote your lack of BRAIN.

All I can do is laugh at this comment :-O

RX8's are by no means slow in the corners, man..I never said they were fast in a straight line. But they are not "slow", either.

I don't see why it's so hard to believe, I beat a Porsche Boxter around an S-turn with my '03 Honda Odyssey. When that guy passed buy his face was red as hell and he was pretty well focused on the road ahead of him, making sure he didn't look over. And I also don't see why so many people bad talk the RX-8...it's an amazing car, and if you want some proof...read ALL of the reviews. It wasn't exactly built for speed, but I hear they can handle boost very well, so it can be made a rocket very quickly. I also believe that there's an RX-8 that has just about hit the 1000hp mark...or sumwhere close to that. And if you kept up to date, the RX-8 does really well in the racing world. Too many people seem to forget the driver plays a large part in the race. Just my 2 cents .

Ooooh, the flamage.

Touched a nerve there, did I? Since there were obviously too may multi-syllable locutions in my single sentence for your feeble mind to comprehend, let's review what I posted, shall we? After watching this C4 outrun an R1, I'd have to suppose the difference between the Rx-8 and the Carrera was the driver, because it certainly isn't the car. Let's see, you posted ”Sure, he SHOULD have demolished me. But driver > car :-D”. Hmm, “he should have demolished me” . . . . would that be because the Carrera is actually faster than your heap of crap? By “But driver > car” , did you mean the difference was the driver, versus the car? When you claimed that he missed a shift, would that be the “driver” or the “car”? Have "mommy" read it to you. Maybe she can dumb it down to a level where you can understand that I was actually agreeing with you.

Unless of course, you’re claiming that your Rx-8 really is faster than a Carrera. Is that it? Is that what your happy face after "But driver > car”meant? The Carrera has a top speed of 177 MPH and runs 13’s in the quarter mile. Yeah, sure. You KILLED a Carrera, because according to you, “Your mommy says so.” LOL

In either case, I bet that Carrera owner REALLY wishes he were you. That way, instead of owning a 911, he could own a three year old car that’s in need of an engine. He'd also have the benefit of being able to go out and "race with mommy in the car", rather than being with girls he could actually date. But then, not knowing your family background, maybe you were on a "date". Who knows, when you got home, mabe you got "lucky".

Wow Marcus...your really freakin out. He never even said anything about his car being faster than a Carrera...and obviously he meant the mis-shift was the driver's fault...you shouldn't ask such dumb questions. You're ranting on and on about nothing and trying to justify yourself when you should just apologize. And he's just saying that his mom is his witness...he's got no reason to lie. Just stop arguing for no reason whatsoever. And one more thing. Don't talk **** about people's mom's, she didn't do nothin to you. Just cuz ur ashamed to be caught out somewhere with your mom doesn't mean everyone else is. So please, next time you choose to speak...THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

What are you guys trying to justify? Are you guys okay?

The guy beat another guy driving different cars, WOW, now suddenly everyone is trying to prove something here. I dont get it. And for the one talking smack about his maxima, my shitty n/a carbbed fc running on 2 spark plugs due to failing leading coils can keep up with a maxima, that was a pointless post.

Does anyone have to justify anything if it was a honda civic instead of a porche?

Marcus, you have just proven yourself as stupid is possible by insulting someone else's mother.

And for the thread starter, please dont put yourself at level grounds with people making comments that are incredibly pointless. You dont really have to prove anything, its up to them to believe or not. Even if they dont believe, it makes sense, just proves that their driving skills are limited, especially at shifting correctly.

I do apologize if I have insulted someone deeply.

Sorry for this waste of a post.

Really? He never said his car was faster than a Carrera? I'm really glad you enlightened me, someone who has owned a 911, that a POS Rx-8 isn't faster than a 911. Next you can work on what this means "the difference between the Rx-8 and the Carrera was the driver". I know it's a little beyond what you’re used to reading, perhaps YOUR MOTHER can explain it you. Oh yeah, that’s right, seeing as how you have Oedipus complex, you thought it best if I didn’t talk about anyone’s mother. Tell me, do you and adrock3217 double date?

I see Marcus is using his inferior cerebral cortex to express yet another poor attempt at insulting another forum member's mother. Makes one wonder if his limited vocabulary consist of "Mother Nature, Mother goddess, Mother (neopaganism), Mother Earth, Great Mother, Gaia (mythology), Mother Motherland, Mary, mother of Jesus, Mother's Day, stepmother, etc"

I don't know.

Yet another wasted post.

Despite the fact that my initials are MF, my insults aren't limited to mothers. I've been known to insult FC owners who don't understand fuel injection well enough to perform simple repairs. You know the type; "would be mechanics" who ditch FI and install a carb because they were too stupid to identify a $30 sensor.

Yet another failure attemp. I do have a carb fc, but you are also only making a fool out of yourself. I've notice you are religious, but you still lack respect for people, I do not see that often. You lack respectful manners and pursues pleasure by increasing your ego. That I cannot respect.
Sorry to dissapoint you, but I do own 2 vehicle, and my other vehicle is a fuel injected rx7 91, also naturally aspriated. Unfortunately my family do not pay anyone to fix any vehicle they own. And uh... I actually brought the vehicle carb'ed because I'd figure I go ahead and learn how to play with carbs. Something I do not see often at the shop now a days since fuel injection is dominate.

Your insult is weak.

Oh you thought I was trying to insult YOU. LOL. No, sorry. If I were to insult "you", I'd dumb it down enough so that "you" would know it. As for my lacking respect for you, perhaps you're finding this "English as your second language" thing overwhelming. Here's a tip for you; as an immigrant, if you refer to someone as inferior, they probably won't have much "respect" for you.

Respectfully Yours MF

Ok, let's review the facts.

I beat a Carrera in my RX8 in a straight line.
I did not beat him because my RX8 is UBER FAST MAD LEET
I beat him because he didn't know how to drive it.

I think I've said all this a couple of times now, but people like Marcus can't comprehend ANYTHING. GAH!

Oh, does my RX8 really need a new engine? That's odd. I thought it was mainly the ones that have been overheated in such states as Las Vegas and lower portions of California, due to extreme heat, traffic, and lack of a second oil cooler. Oh yeah..thats right, THATS where the majority is!

Do you make fun of FD owners for a good few of their engines dying an early death? If you do, your a damn fool.

Marcus, you failed in all your attempts. Sorry, but you did.

Yet another assumption, immigrant? I've notice that you certainly publish many stupid statement to make yourself feel better. I am sorry your respect is useless to me as I do not even know who you are. I can only judge from your post(s) that you are very immature. It is okay, you already prove yourself to be an idiot trying to justify retarded actions.

Please don't get mad. I apologize if you will accept. So just stop making yourself look childish. I guess I will be the better man in this one and make this my last respone here. Take it easy there buddy. I hope god bless you evey night, you will need it. lol.

Nice kill. It's always funny when some bonehead loses a race because he can't drive. It sounds like you raced a typical Porsche owner, except for one thing. A typical Porsche owner won't race, because that is how they drive

Wouldn't that mean "the difference between the Rx-8 and the Carrera was the driver". ? If you're unsure what this means, ask "mommy", I'm sure she'll lend a hand.

Since you are ill informed, I’ll lend a hand. ALL 2004, 2005, and 2006 RX-8’s are being recalled. As wonderful as they are, there is a design flaw in the all powerful, Porsche crushing Rx-8.

Here’s and article that confirms the recall - http://mazdanews.com/node/view/349
Here’s another - http://rotarynews.com/node/view/826
It’s even made it’s way to wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_RX-8
You can try Rx8club as well.

Are you sure the car belongs to you, and not "mommy"? You see, if the car is registered to "mommy", she would get the recall in the mail. Once again, ask "mommy", I'm sure she'll lend a hand.

I assumed you to be an immigrant as your basic English is quite "unusual" for someone who has spent his (her?) life in the United States. I apologize to all immigrants everywhere, as you are obviously "common".

Good kill, however I don't think that missing a shift means you don't know how to drive. He just made a mistake. If he was trying to speed shift it's almost impossible in a porsche.

Not just a mis-shift. Was hitting rev limiter, and not shifting right away. Very poor driver.
