WOW!

OK first, whoever is holding the camera sucks.

It seems to me that both drivers suck cause both missed gears at one point.

Video was wayy to dark and shaky.

That camera doesnt have night shot?

I applaud you for putting a video but damn, what good is it if we cant see ****? and if its about missing gears? lol

HAHAHA horrible drivers. Gotta love the instant torque of the cobra. I almost always gain a car right away when racing others cars.

Wow, that vid is a combination of bad filming, bad editing, and bad driving. That FD should of put up a much better fight.

Rule number 1: Don't race a supercharged Cobra from a 20 mph roll.
Rule number 2: Don't race a supercharged Cobra without brake boosting. The torque on that Cobra will walk you from the get go if you don't build boost fast enough.
Rule number 3: Don't let a shitty driver drive a fast FD

I walked away from a Kenne Bell Cobra that was putting down about 600 rwhp. We went from a 3rd gear roll, but still that race should have been a lot closer.

I am running high flow cats now. There is really no point running these cars catless. They like the slight backpressure to build boost against. If I can make power and stay emissions legal why not?

374 whp..so lets round that up to 400whp.

Would weight make a 200hp and 170+ torque difference?

Single turbo, 18 psi, around 400rwhp. I got many witnesses if you're doubting. Also, raced a Vette on a 300+ shot that night and it was very close.

Yeah, yeah. We are working the night thing out. I can't afford an expensive camera so that is all I got.

Bad filming, I know. Bad driving, I agree 100%! There will be another video, this time done by ME! And the driver of the RX-7 is learning as we speak.

as far as rule #1
Interesting... I've raced My friend's 03 cobra and his third gear is his strongest.

I can actually hang with him up till 70 - 80 from starting at around a 20 mph roll. Once we get past 70 he goes into outer space.

I'm about 100 horses less than you, so you beating a cobra from third has no relevance to me lol.

As far as that vid is concerned. That single 7 should have put up a better fight. **** I did... That is unless the cobra is running more mods than what was listed.

I was stating the fact that 20mph is too slow. That you'd have to be in 2nd gear. With a single turbo would take a bit of time to spool, unless you brake boost, but still that's too low of a MPH to get full boost even brake boosting. The instant torque of the Cobra would pull imediately.

Oh and I know how hard those Cobras pull from 3rd to 4th and a bit of 5th. When I raced the KB Cobra we went from 80mph til about 130 and I jumped about a 1.5-2 cars on him and kept it there. I believe if I had to stay in 4th for much longer he'd reel me in.

Damn, seams like your car is quite a bit stronger than 400 rwhp... I have no problems betting rx-7s that dyno at 400.

i raced a cobra that had intakle and exhaust ...at the time i had 340rwhp stock twins stock motor. we went from second twice and third once. Rioght off the punch i would grab a car and then keep pulling. thats whats great about the sequential system...instant power.
