00 Legacy vs an MX3

Heh, my family 4 door sedan handed some serious *** to a MX3 coupe earlier today. It was a no contest type thing. I kept letting off and backing off, then catching back up... Like, half throttle in 5th gear catching up. :p

Also killed a local V6 domestic rice mustang. It has 'dual exhaust' and a quadruple level spoiler and probably a stereo system so loud that it could shatter the moon. no contest there either.

Sounds like fun. Out of curiousity, what are the specs on your Legacy? (I'm too lazy to look it up.)

165hp/165tq (crank), AWD with Open front and rear diffs, and mine weighs about 3,200-3,700lbs, depending on how much gas and if I have 3 friends in it. :p The motor is a 2.5 liter flat 4, NA. I like odd motors, like the H4 in Subies, the H6 in Subies and porsche, and rotaries. (Subaru had a F1 car with an H12 in it, one was on sale on ebay for a while).

Add to the list: I killed a lifted Dodge V8 earlier today (2003 or 2004 MY). I love it, all show and noise, and no go. Also killed a V6 Acura, total ricer. :p I can take a friend's Maxima up to about 95, then it walks on me.

It's an L. The GT was basically the same as the L model in 2000, excpet it had leather, power seats, a spoiler, 16" alloy wheels, and an LSD in the rear. I think it also had a different final drive, but it was pretty much the same as my car.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot the RWD porsche I killed last winter. :p It's funny racing people in the snow in an AWD car. They do an awesome burnout, and you just hook up and go. I also killed an AMG, it's no contest when it's dry, but when it gets wet out, the guy's TCS kicks in and it doesn't really go anywhere, where my Subie accelerates the same dry, wet, snow, ice (sometimes not), gravel, etc.

And no, not Subaru forever, I'm selling mine once I get my RX-7. :p
