rx7 killer
IMO i haven t seen much people upgrade thier axles, it seems you break diffs more than you break axles, i coulsnt find anyone selling aftermarket axles, but i would say 400hp at least...dont qoute me on that one..

Not to thread-jack, but does anyone use a Mazdaspeed 2 way LSD? I've just started looking at upgrading my diff and was curious which way to go. Now I'm leaning OS Giken due to Zero R's comments, but that price is hefty haha. I found a Mazdaspeed unit for a good price so I'm wondering.
And I am curious as well, do all aftermarket diffs clunk when taking corners slowly?

Alright Os Giken is silent. I've heard that Cusco and Kaaz cluncks when turning at low speeds. What about Mazdaspeed ? And just out of curiosty anyone tried OBX LSD ? To me OBX seems cheap but hey you never know sometimes.

My buddy has a Kaaz in his car and it clunks like crazy taking slow turns. I'd still like to know about Mazdaspeed.

^Well, knowing my buddy, it's a damn good chance he didn't take the time to break it in, or possibly didn't even know there was a break in procedure, HAHA. Thanks for the info!

So I FINALLY got my LSD. Picked up a KAAZ 1.5 already sealed in the T2 diff housing for $250 . Took it to KAAZ HQ on Tuesday for inspection and some 80 90 gear oil, I was told that ring has great backlash, but my pinion gear is wearing thin.
My question is where I may find a new/decent pinion gear for a T2? Are these available aftermarket?

I'm not into metallurgy, but I'm talking with shops about (but not limited to): WPC treatment, cryo/heat treatment, and nitriding.
