What's a good tire pressure guage?

I've been using a crappy "run of the mill" tire pressure gauge all of my life. I have been looking for a gauge that could read pressure in at least 1/2 pound increments and be accurate to that same amount. Is there such a gauge for under $100? What do you guys use. Or do you recommend using temps as the determining factor?

Longacre makes some really nice tire pressure gauges. The only one I see that has true .5lb accuracy only goes up to 30lbs. Their 60lb gauge has 1lb accuracy, that is pretty much all you need and it will be much more accurate than the stick style pressure gauges.

I think it was really expensive but they also sell a digital gauge that is .5 lb accurate up to (I think it said 100lbs).

This one appears to be in 1/2 pound increments. And it's only $30!

I want to hear an argument for tire temps and hot spots.

They also have one at the bottom of that page that talks to you in a "freindly female voice."
