What would you do
So recently accuaried someones partial restoration attempt (basiclly stopped at the teardown stage) for a song and a road trip. Currently the cars non running due to a bad fuel pump...from 7 years ago 
and has been sitting in the New Mexico sun since (but has 98% straight body). Currently Im trying to decide what all to do with it and not 100% sure what to do.
1) Leave as is and scavange parts as needed for current S7
2) Get running and check health/condition of 12A, if good transfer go fast bits from current car and use as new race car
3) If engines healthy buy new go fast bits and make secondary car and rent out old car
4) If engines not healthy convert to STU car and rent 1 of the 2 cars out on regional days
Honestly right now Im leaning towards a final goal of 3 or 4 but start with just doing option #2 with new safety gear (except reusing belts) but due to cost/long term heasitent to even start on it (gotta get the tow rig repaired/upgraded first before major work can begin anyways)
