What muffler you guys use ??

Seen to be no muffler can stand the heat and noise of Rotary. on the locoal SOLO2. I record 110-140 DB on straight way depend on the distance!! The muffler I am using at that time was JIC titanium muffler. it only take 20 min to burn that muffler to pretty blue.... I am fab a quiter muffler edelbrock rebuildable muffler with supertrap. wonder what kind of muffler u guys use on ur race car. I heard the best one is the one from MAZDA COMP, forget the name..
BTW my car is 13BPP with race beat header. two 2 inch piping all the to the end with one muffler

140DB? HOLY COW! DAYMN! How in the heck can you drive that car on the street?

I run a Magnaflow muffler on mine, so far so good.. I turn 98db from 50ft.

then into a universal muffler

BIG mandrel bent pipe all the way.

Holy crap, 140dB and you're running a muffler!

I've got a presilencer/supertrapp on one car and a presilencer/flowmaster on the other, and both are under 100dB at TWS. I've heard you can run a flowmaster with no presilencer and be a tad under or right at 100dB.

EDIT: too many words.

Look into Mindtrain products. I use the mindtrain 2.5" exhaust on my Turbo first gen.

There was a guy running my same exhaust on his turbo and made 412 RWHP. So I'm sure it will flow enough. Will probably still be loud but no where near what you are now.

You can get the exhaust fom www.kickyride.com

My engine builder told me to get LAVA ROCK muffler only, but at that time I think the muffler is too experience and look ugly, but I pay the price now ....
I think one reason my car got this loud is because of PP design? oh my car is not a street car. my car is SCCA ITE and solo2 FP car. hope my other set of muffler can quite a the noise a bit other wise I need to give up solo2..

Get a Racing beat cat back, and make your own DP. Flows plenty, I've seen a couple guys push
500 rwhp through it. Carl
I'll trade you one for your wing
