Video from Thunderhill last weekend
that looks like fun Paul. Racing for 20 minute sessions vs. 10 seconds at a time has finally struck me as being more fun.
Time to get started on a hell machine roadrace FC/FD.

integras can be faster than you'd think, especially the ITR flavour. LOTS of go-fast parts for them and they handle well too.
I know how the $$ goes Paul, hope to see you down here.

Very, very nice video! Loved the fight between yourself and the Integra. The Corvette may have blown by you off the straight but he didn't appear to be pulling away much in the curves.....
Nice!
Nice!
Looks like you are carrying good speed throughout the run. Is there a way for me to post my HI 8 video? I've still got two months of work to go on my seven before it hits the track again.

It takes a very modern, late model Integra to even come close to competing with a 15+ year old RX-7. I have one of each of roughly the 88 model year (FC is an 87) and there is just no comparison. The FC is three times the car . . . Let's see a S7 do battle with an ITR . . . wait, then there is the issue of only one having the advantage of a turbo . . .
Hey Carl,
Yeah, it took most of the weekend to start shaking out the cobwebs, hadn't been out on track since December, but the competition between the 3 ITS cars out in Group 4 really helped push us all to get our times down.
88Teg..
heh, yeah, there is just a minor problem of a turbo
OTOH, driver does count for a lot here as well.

Hey Paul, you didn't answer my question, is there a way to post an analog 8mm tape? I have some nice in car footage of me passing and then walking away from a 2002 996TT, and a 2002 ZO6 at thunder hill last fall. Thanks, Carl

Good lines at Thunder Hill. I think you are the guy I met at Reno NASA right? Any how a little more rotation will get you higher entrance and corner speed. Oh I noticed you were lifting less with the instructor going through turn 5. Need to gusto through turn 5 with out lifting, but you have to be lined up right for 6 though. Looks like you could deep brake a little more , but I could be wrong since it was a video.
