Unhappy Transmission Problems???

Hi,
I need some help from you guys. I have a mild ported series 4 13bt engine, with a TO4E, 8injectors, microtech mt-8....etc. My current transmission is a series 4 gearbox, with a 500hp six puck clutch and billet flywheel.
The problem I'm facing now, is that everytime I drag the car (whether on low boost or high), the gears will not engage to the next. But it'll be alright if I do smooth driving. Why is this so? Is it because the pressure plate is not releasing, or the gearbox has some sychromesh problems? I have already tried changing to another box, but the problems still persist. One of the local mechanic, has suggested that it could be due to the gearstick bushing. Could this be true? Anyway, my car is a series 3 rx7, which comprises, of a dead type rear housing.

What type of clutch linkage are you using. The engine may be flexing so much that it does not allow the linkage to actuate the clutch.
