I was at Lime Rock Park on Friday, all-in-all is was great day with beautiful weather. I was taking it somewhat easy, trying new driving ideas, lines, and tire pressures. I also moved up to to the run group 3 which I was slightly nervous about since I'm usually the fastest car on track and I thought that this group would be much faster then I could push the car. Turns out I was still one of the fastest cars on track with my street tires and mild horsepower but I must say it was nice not having a train to deal with every lap. I think the fastest time was around a 1:04 in the video, I'm hoping to drop that down to 1:00 with my current set-up in June. I think I was quicker in other sessions but I don't have a good timing solution yet so video is all I have to go with when I use it.

Nice racing. What kind of video cam are you using and where is it mounted?

 

I'm using some older Panasonic point and shoot mounted to the rollbar.
