Tires pressure for track event

What tyre pressure do you recommend for track event (road course) on tires:
- front : 225/50/16
- rear: 225/50/16

Thanks!

What kind of tires? Street tires? R-compounds? Racing slicks? It makes a difference.

Probably start off with 33psi (F) and 30psi (R). With R-compounds or a stiffer sidewall tire, I'd go a little lower.

Your tires will heat up as you continue to lap the course. As they heat, the air pressures will rise. You want to start out lower so that they are at the right pressure as the tires get to operating temp.
