Stock undertray and belly pan?

Hi all,

I was wondering how the stock undertray and belly pan help extract heat from the engine bay?

I'm currently - properly - ducting my radiator and oil cooler, and remembered reading something about how the plastic tray that comes behind the radiator, along with the sheet metal little belly pan that sits beneath the oil pan on the subframe work together to extract hot air out of the bottom of the engine bay.

Lemme know!

I think it's not really that they help extract air but that the air flows properly - first through the rad (instead of under it) then out the back of the engine bay
