It was bound to happen sooner or later. Funny thing is I really wasn't beating on it all to bad. I guess having the Banzai Trans and diff braces made the rear part of the pumpkin the weak spot. I wonder if having a Cradle would have kept this from happening.



Was a simple 3.5K RPM Launch that hooked well. Road surface was a bit uneven so maybe that was part of it but it gripped momentarily strong and then BANG.

Anyhow, I am now looking at differential and axle options to strengthen this rear end. I may buy a Cobra 8.8 IRS rear end and do it right for next year so I can get this car back on the race track (both HPDE and Drag). Looks like I can do this around 2K.
