I wasnt able to make it to this years new jersey event. But last year I spent most of the race around your guys paddock. Thank you guys for continuing on with the rotary. I am very envious of your job!
Very cool. Are there any articles out there that give some details on the motors you guys run? I'd love to know more about what rotors and housings you use, what the porting is like, how long between rebuilds, any hiccups or reliability issues you came across, and so on.

What they are doing to those motors is between the SpeedSource engineers and Mazda.
I have met Sylvain Trembley and David Haskell --as well as the crew--several times at race events and at Sevenstock. They are great guys, always willing to chat between rounds in the paddock and always glad to have fan support at the track or on-line. So don't be shy about giving them props as often as possible. Go to the events if they are in your area. Give them the thumbs up on-line when they do well or even when they have had a bad outing. They really live for that stuff.
Who knows, maybe their cars house the next power plant for a new 7.
Yea unfortuantley I had to sign a waiver saying that anything I saw or heard I could not repeat, But we are really good with are fans at the track, and in fact this past weekend @ New Jersey Motorsports Park Mazda had about 100 guest come and they got to check out the cars up close and look at all the stuff on the car..So that was pretty cool.
Again we appreciate everyone's support and hope to see some of you at a race track near you...Next stop Mazda Race Way (Laguna Seca). May 16-17.

They used to build the fastest ITS cars years ago. They know the 2nd Gen well but don't really sell any products for it now.

I dont know who you talked to but, We dont rebuild everyrace.. We just changed the motor in the 70 and it had the 24 of daytona homestead test, VIR & NJMP...the 69 car is running the same motor from the 24.
We can usually get about 85 hours out of a motor before we rebuild them.

I thought I remembered you guys saying you rebuilt after every race. Maybe it was just because of the oil temps you guys hit that day? I would love to see the internals after the motor running that hard with those temps!
I'll be there on the 17th, hanging out with the Pirelli guys. I'll be by your pits. Maybe get a insiders tour?
