Speedo adjustment for new diff - What wire

Hi guys,

Havnt had much luck getting a reply in the 3rd gen section so thought I would repost this here.

I have a Mazda Speed diff that has thrown my speedo out by about 20Km at 100Km/h (sorry for the metric measure) So I have brought a electric speedo correction kit.

Basicly what it does is takes the pulses from the signal and slows it down/speeds it up alowing you to adjust the speedo.

Now that all fine. I have tried to install the kit onto the speed wire of the ECU (power FC) but that does not have anything to do with the gauge. It still works when disconnected.....bummer...I was hopeing that was a easy win.

So I looked over the wireing to the dash and according to the below diagram...the sensor runs straight to the dash, then a signal goes out to the ecu...ie the wire I used.

I need to use one of the below marked wires from the sensor but dont know what one. Does anyone know which of these to use....or will the kit installed between either of them work?

i'm not 100% sure, but i think it just generates an AC voltage (like the CAS pickups), so in that case i think either wire works.

if you're not sure, its really easy to get to the connector on the speedo sensor, and you can put a voltmeter on and find out.
