Snell helmet safety standards info

The Feb 2005 issue of Circle Track has a great article on what goes into the Snell helmet safety standards and exactly how they are tested. It also has another great article on stuff like suits, shoes and gloves.

I've started keeping an eye on this magazine as they are centered on local dirt track and short oval racers so the info and items discussed are easily accessable (in both intellect and $$$) to those of us whose cars stay in our own garages and are paid for with our own wallets

Circle Track is the only magazine subscription I wish I hadn't dropped (among Autoweek, Racer, etc.)

A LOT of extremely good homebrew tech articles, and a lot of interesting insights into the circle track racing world.

I almost wish I was still racing ovals, too...

I'm just glad they didn't ban closed-face helmets... I just bought mine!
