Seeking Guidance for My FD3S Build
Seeking Guidance for My FD3S Build
I’m diving into the world of motorsport with my FD3S and looking to build a reliable, competitive setup for track days and time attack events. I’m particularly interested in:
• Suspension & Handling: Recommendations for coilovers and sway bars that balance performance and reliability.
• Weight Reduction: Effective methods to shed pounds without compromising structural integrity.
• Safety Gear: Advice on roll cages, harnesses, and seat options that meet safety standards.
• Engine Management: Insights into tuning strategies and ECU options for optimal performance.
Looking forward to learning from your experiences and contributing to the community!

congratulations, its all been done before, so you should spend some time looking at old posts.
for the suspension the FD is really good, its really robust, geometry is great. i'd think in the US, a set of Ohlins, and some fresh bushings would have you 90% of the way there.
weight reduction is pretty straightforward too, there are lots of emissions parts that could come off, PS, AC.
