Hey Brent... Stay safe in Afghanistan and thanks for doing what has to be done.

I got over to look at what will be my LeMons ride. The car is very "LeMons-ish" which is to say rough and not very refined but the importants stuff is taken care of. The cage is very nice and properly installed, the seat and belts are good quality and things seem generally tight. The team is very inexperienced and generally drive in a HPDE style but they all have fun. I'd like to see a bit more refinement on the brakes and made some suggestions but since they barely know me at all I'm not expecting them to implement much of them... and that's understandable... I'd probably be the same way. Anyhow, the car looks reliable enough and has made it thru one full race weekend already so I'm sure it will be fun.

...Good lookin' blue first gen in Jim's vid.

Jim, I want your motor! My front brake rotor cracked as we went out for the warm up lap. Flat spotted two tires in that race.

Guy, that yellow RX is insanely quick.

Hey Kurt! Good to hear from you. Yeah, don't you just hate those dang OEM rotors? I finally threw in the towel and bought some aftermarket two piece hub/rotors and hopefully my broken rotor issues are behind me. Anyhow, my engine is nothing special... stock port, stock computer GSL-SE motor built from all used parts. All it has is a bunch of oiling mods to keep it reliable. And even so, you stayed ahead of me without much problem. I noticed what was done to me in Group 5 was done to you in Group 1...
Cheers,
Jim
