"Safety devices" roll cage for FC?

Does anyone have experience with these roll cages, I saw a few pictures of one installed in a Porsche, and I really liked the idea of having side impact bars, and these look reasonably easy to get in and out of, so that would be a definant plus. I looked at their website, and found that they DO make them for the 2nd gen, even with a sunroof, and I would be very interested, if I knew the price, and how well they were made. I'm not planning on making this an all out track car, until perhaps I get out of college and have a different car to drive around, but I would like the extra body stiffness, and protection. I would like to find out if any of you guys have seen these for FC's, and know if they would be more likely to kill me than save me. I've heard alot of negative talk towards bolt-in applications, and just wanted to make sure what I was buying was safer than not having one at all.

I took one out of the 911RSR I did a custom cage for last season. For a kit, they are really nice. They are spendy for a kit, but they fit nice and all close fit. At least for a 911.

I did the same on a 944T. The SD cage is a nice piece and it will keep the road off of your head but for chassis ridgity their are MUCH better options. But most important drive a car with a cage on the street first before you spend your hard erned bucks. It is a royal PIA and in a accident, if not properally padded can be a hazard rather then a safty enhancer.
